Carlos Sunyer

Carlos Sunyer

I am an applied economist and a PhD Candidate in Finance at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. My research interests lie in how the financial system and the real economy shape each other.

Outside of work, you will usually find me playing football, up a mountain, photographing nature, or reading essays on all sorts of subjects.

I am on the job market in 2026-27.

Upcoming visit. In the fall semester of 2026 I will be visiting Columbia Business School. If you are around, I am always happy to meet.
